history: Howdy! Ah'm Applejack. Tha' most dependable'a ponies!

personality: Stubborn, Honest, Dependable; but mostly stubborn.

Applejack is a hard working pony who likes to do things her way and no other. She can be headstrong when it comes to other people's ideas and concerns, especially about the way she chooses to do things. She is highly appreciated in her home town of Equestria and frequently looked to when things need to be done. With her heart in the right place, she is always ready to help a friend in need or just help for the sake of helping - Friendship is Magic after all. There is nothing she wouldn't do for those she calls her friends, or as she affectionately calls them, 'Sugarcubes'.

Applejack is far from a frilly filly; unlike most of the other ponies, Applejack has a Southern (American) accent that sets her apart from the city folk. She has no problem getting her hooves dirty - she normally has dirt, hay or who knows what else in her mane. Looks are not everything!

When Applejack is confronted about something, she can take it two ways. Friendly and calm, going with the flow... Or aggressive and rude, normally with her friend Rainbow Dash, who knows how to push her buttons. Applejack is competitive and loves demonstrating her Apple Bucking ability to anyone who asks. She isn't a fan of showing off however, unless it's to Rainbow Dash, who she is quick to kick up an argument with when she thinks Rainbow is talking trash or running her mouth.

Ah yes. Her element. Applejack was given the Element of Honesty by Princess Celestia, after showing to her friends that Honesty was the best policy when it came to Friendship. She finds it hard to lie, and normally ends up letting the pony out of the bag when she tries, even when it's just as simple as keeping a surprise party from Pinkie Pie.

Applejack works on her Family farm with her older Brother Big Mac and Younger Sister, Apple Bloom and Granny. She spends most of her days in the apple fields bucking apples to keep her farm afloat. Work before play, but Applejack always gets what she starts done and won't quit until it is.

abilities/powers: Applejack doesn't have any fancy abilities like flying or seeing long distances. But she can cook and bake like a pro. Her back legs that she has calls "Bucky McGillycuddy" and "Kicks McGee" hold a powerful kick. She is very strong, for a pony, and can herd almost anything.

But her greatest skill is Apple Bucking. In other words, harvesting apple trees by kicking them with her hind legs. Even when sleep-deprived, she is usually capable of kicking all the apples off a tree with one kick while leaving the tree in prefect condition.

first person sample: [Everything was blurry, and Applejack didn't quite know what was up from down. The pony had woken up on a cold table, somewhere she wasn't sure was even close to her farm.]

"What in tarnation is goin' on here? This ain't my farm; I know I went ta sleep in my bedroom.. Didn't I?"

"I reckon this might have somethin' to do with those two from yesterday! I swear.. If I have ta, I'll..."

"Wait'a pony pickin' minute. Where is my hat?!"

third person sample: As a pony, Applejack didn't have a clue what to think of all of this. To think something like this even existed; that was the part that baffled the cow-pony the most. Applejack was alone. In a large, city. It looked like it might be Fillydelphia, but it was so dark. All the time. Of course that didn't stop her from looking for the others, and coming up far more than just short. It didn't take Applejack long to realize this place was nothing like she had ever seen. Everything from the buildings, to the lights, to the ponies? No.

She wasn't in Equestria anymore.

AJ was passed the point of scared- she was terrified. There was nothing she recognized, no other ponies that she could see. But a stubborn pony didn't give up so easily. It didn't matter how terrified she was, she was determined to find out what was going on and how she could find her way back. Even if that meant talking to everything she came across. Applejack had been in the Everfree Forest plenty of times, and sometimes it was pretty scary. But she never gave up, and this time was no different. Other then the obvious.

First. She would set off to find a tree. Apple if she could. Being close to something that reminded her of her sweet apple farm back home would help this poor pony think things out. She had to gather her thoughts, and figure out the most efficient way to take this problem on. The others had to be around this place somewhere, and she wouldn't give up till she found her friends!

But first.. Where could she find another hat?
